At Kalahari Finance, we are proud to have a very experienced, professional, passionate and friendly team with extensive international banking, investment, finance, accountancy, operations, compliance, business development, relationship management as well as leadership experience, having worked in four continents in some of the world’s most prominent financial centres.

Marta founded Kalahari Finance driven by her passion to help make a difference through combining her skills and experiences in both the corporate and entrepreneurial worlds.
Marta is a highly skilled and experienced financial, securities and funds services specialist with nearly 30 years of international banking experience. During her career, she worked for Citigroup in London, Tokyo, Athens and Budapest heading up global, regional and local functions in the areas of business, product, and network management; market intelligence; communications; relationship management and marketing. She has a proven track record of successfully building and managing diverse teams across a large number of local and remote locations.
Marta has been recognised by clients, and through various industry awards, for building market-leading solutions and improving business practices and services, resulting in increased client satisfaction and considerable time and cost savings. She demonstrated her ability to develop and implement strategies for a large and diverse organisation while working with a variety of clients, partners, and stakeholders. A passionate and dynamic individual with strong people and interpersonal skills; a strategic thinker with a strong focus on detail and quality, delivering best practices through continuous innovation and improvements in a complex and highly competitive environment.

Kevin is a hands-on professional with over 30 years of expertise in cross-border general management in publicly traded and private companies having worked in several countries including the UK, South Africa, Switzerland and the USA. A chartered accountant with an MBA who has worked extensively in finance and accounting, management consulting, international M&As, corporate funding, marketing, advertising and sales management.
Crucially for this role, Kevin has had vast experience in performance management frameworks, income statement and cash flow management, budget development, financial modelling, fundraising, risk planning, business valuations, due diligence, acquisition negotiations, transfer pricing, statutory reporting (IFRS) as well as corporate governance. Kevin has developed Management Information Systems, worked in international tax compliance and has been involved in business planning as well as board presentations. Kevin is also a Certified Director and a strategic planner who has gained extensive experience in business development, operations management, change, internal controls, and human resource development.

Andrew is the Managing Partner of Finex LLP and in this capacity, he monitors and ensures Kalahari’s adherence to a strong compliance culture and uncompromising standards.
Andrew moved into Finance from Civil and Nautical Engineering in 1995. Over the subsequent 20 years Andrew worked for a number of Tier 1 institutions in which he developed and implemented Futures and Options Strategies based on Technical and Statistical Methods. During the 2007 Credit Crisis Andrew managed the dismantling of a significant defaulting options positions on behalf of Soc Gen (Newedge). In 2010 Andrew co-founded Finex LLP and has grown the partnership in to a UCITS and AIFM firm. In 2015 Andrew won the Technical Analyst Award. Andrew holds a BEng in Civil Engineering Design and Management from Cardiff University.

Elena is the Partner and Chief Compliance Officer of Finex LLP and helps ensure Kalahari’s compliance to the strictest regulatory and business standards.
Elena forged her career at Goldman Sachs from 1999. Initially in Fixed Income, Elena had operational responsibility over EU Governments, including bond auctions and buy-backs, and the first ever sovereign syndicated issuances. A strong compliance culture and uncompromising standards were invaluable as Elena moved from securities to the private side supporting leverage finance and senior bank debt businesses, straddling Chinese walls and working closely with legal counsel and Compliance. All the while, Elena remained a pivotal member of the GS Women’s Network and a supporter of charitable initiatives. Elena co-founded Finex LLP in 2010.
